The Chapter has a breakfast/brunch meeting on the SECOND saturday of each month. We normally meet at 11am unless otherwise stated.
The Chapter has a ride out on the FORTH saturday of each month commencing in March with the last one being in October. We can run others if members request it, or come up with ideas for one.
The following is a list of potential events that members can attend. Those items highlighted in Green are where we know a member of the Chapter will be attending. If you would like to attend

| 14 | Afghan Heroes Mothers Day Bikers Event. Thousands of bikers from throughout the country are planning a spectacular mass ride through Wootton Bassett to RAF Lyneham in Wiltshire on Mothers Day to honour soldiers who have lost their lives in Afghanistan. Riders will pay £5 on the day to take part but MUST register online before the event. more.... |

We will now meet for breakfast at the Haldon Grill at 11am and dependent upon numbers, we will have a mystery tour around East Devon & Dorset. We apologise for the change, but this was beyond our control, but we hope the alternative will live up to expectations. |

Georges Knight 2010. This is our second St George's Knight Gala Weekend. It is being held at the Headland Hotel, Torquay, Devon on the "English Riviera" so plenty of great weather has been arranged! Guests will arrive on the Friday and enjoy Dinner together whilst Saturday is a 'do as you please' day - there is so much to see in the area. | 11 | COPS Black Tie Ball to be held at Chatsworth House which is the jewel in Derbyshire's crown (have a look at it online) and the home of the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire, who are very keen for this Ball to go ahead and may be present to support out charity. It will be an evening of wining, dining, dancing and fund-raising! I'm aiming for some wonderful auction and raffle prizes. Tickets will go on sale at £65 which will include a served 3 course dinner in the beautiful Carriage House Restaurant, entertainment provided by talented local musicians, a bar open until 1am and some surprises thrown in. | 19 | Community Life Support Day at the Sea Cadet Unit, Sunnyside Road, Weston-super-Mare, BS23 3PZ, commencing at 10am. This is in response to the First Bike on Scene Course, which Pete was trying to sort,and will cover everything in that course and more. The event will be run by Sedgemoor Life Saving Club and a donation of £30 per person will be asked for, which will include cooked Breakfast, drinks and biscuits, training and certificate. COPS MEMORIAL WEEKEND & LAWRIDE. There will be two group attending this year. The first will be the riders, who on the 24th, will ride first to Leicester for the Members AGM and then to Stafford for the overnight stop. The second group will be our wives, who will drive up to Stafford for the overnight stop. The two groups will get together for a social at a near by watering hole! Both parties will travel to the starting point of Lawride on the Sunday morning. |

| 26 | National Police Memorial Day. The Chapter have been invited to particpate and to provide a bike escort. We will be 'parading' at Weston-super-Mare in front of local dignatories, together with . Plans are being finalised, but members of the Mounted Section, Mace Escort, the Band of Avon Fire and Rescue with Drill Squad, the Force Standard Bearer,and 35 + officers. Various dignitaries attend, together with members of NARPO, and of course relatives of those fallen officers. The meet time is approx 1400 to 1415 at Walliscote School opposite Weston Police Station. Parade leaves at 1430 for service at Church at 1500.This lasts for 45-60 mins. Hopefully will include Force Choir. After a buffet and drinks are provided in the Church Hall free of charge.
