Well Guys & Gals what can one say, other than it was one hell of a Breakfast Meet, surpassing all previous numbers. The Grille staff did their usual sterling job of coping with the numbers, keeping cheerful and delivering good food quickly. The weather, although cold, was fine and dry resulting in about a dozen bikes seeing the light of day. It didn’t look as cold as it was however resulting in a few shivering participants. Matt certainly felt it and as for poor Trev! It was entertaining watching him trying to eat a breakfast with hands shaking so much it’s a wonder any of it reached his mouth! Hope you are warm now ! I thought Fords had heaters!

There were 28 B/K's and partners plus 7 Praetorians totalling 35, what a nice bunch, I for one hope that our relationship grows with them and that we can exchange ideas, ride out and support each other when appropriate. For those who are not sure about who they are, please see their website www.praetorianlemc.org

Hope you all enjoyed yourselves, a special welcome to our recent members Matt from Newquay, Brendan from Exeter and John from Torquay on his immaculately turned out Triumph. Good also to see Chaplain Reg able to attend. New members do have a look at his Chaplains Chat section on the web-site. Believer or not I’m sure you will find the content interesting.

Many thanks to all who attended and sorry for those who couldn't attend. I’d love to think that the Chapter turn out on this occasion will not prove to be a one-off and future meetings will be equally successful. It was also good to see Tina, Claire, Leslie, Kath, Ruth and other ladies and apologise for the present Mrs Sturmans lack of attendance, however, she was very much under the weather. Congratulations to Muddy and Leslie on their anniversary on the day. (39 was it? Apologies if wrong) You should be proud. It beats Carole and I and I think we deserve an award for 35. For the benefit of the new members -  wives, partners, girlfriends/boyfriends are always most welcome at Chapter events. You can even bring your own! The more the merrier and I personally think the Chapter benefits greatly for mixed attendance.

Finally, I’m sure we all wish John Cooke a beneficial stay at Flint House and speedy recovery, hoping that his dog Buddy doesn't eat Muddy out of house and home.

See you at Weston next month.
